PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly access a network and to receive and print only required information from information resources. SOLUTION: When an information resource (web page) instructed from a host computer is accessed, a structure is analyzed based on an HTML source code (S11), and the format of information constituting the web page is inspected (S12 and S113). In the case of a format whose reception is permitted, information is received (S14) and it is added to a layout of printing (S15). Reception availability on all information constituting the information resource is inspected (S16). Thus, required information can individually be received from the information resource and wasteful data transfer can be prevented so as to speedily print data.
