PURPOSE: To transmit a detailed message when another computer requests access to the stopping computer while the computer on a network is stopping.

CONSTITUTION: In the network in which the plural computers are connected, the identifier (network address) 5 and the message 6 of the computer A 1 are stored beforehand in a device B 2 so as to inform the user of another computer 4 of a detailed stopping state in the case that the computer A 1 is made to stop intentionally. When the device B finds data for the computer A on the network, it returns the message 3 to the computer having outputted that data.
