To provide a network structure for a mobile communication system and a data communication method using the same.
The network structure for the mobile communication system includes: a plurality of routers 22a-22d for performing a gateway function for transmitting packet data between mobile terminal equipment on a call originating site and mobile terminal equipment in the destination on a public Internet 21 which is operated by a general Internet protocol; a home agent 24 which is present at an arbitrary location on the public Internet 21 for performing initial registration of the mobile terminal equipment, IP routing, route optimization, and movability management of the mobile terminal equipment; an AAA server 25 which is present at an arbitrary location on the public Internet 21 for performing authentication for connecting the mobile terminal equipment to the public Internet, utilization authority verification, and a charging function, and for storing AAA information related to respective pieces of the mobile terminal equipment; and an RAP which is connected to the IP routers 22a-22d for connecting the mobile terminal equipment and the IP routers so as to perform a total wireless link function.
