Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a network sub-device and a network device which function to connect together the processor units in a parallel processor system, suppresses the conflict of the inter-CPU communication to improve the throughput and the expansion of the system, and requires the work amount accordant with the system scale.
CONSTITUTION: A network device is provided with the input ports 11 and 12, a group address deciding part 17 which decides whether the destination undecision data is addressed to its own group from the port 11, a network switch part 18 which switches and outputs the destination undecision data as the destination decision data when the destination undecision data is addressed to its own group, a destination decision data conflict part 19 which receives the destination decision data from the part 18 and the port 12 and eliminates the conflict, a destination decision data output port 13, and an output port 14 which outputs the destination undecision data when this data is not addressed to its own group.
