Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically change a band and to improve the availability of the band by monitoring a packet to be transmitted in a network and deciding a band amount in the network to be used by a prescribed transmission/reception system or another system based on a data amount in the packet which is used by the prescribed transmission/reception system.
SOLUTION: The data packet monitor part 107 of this band managing device 104 detects a data packet from the network 101 after a processing is started. When the data packet is the packet of the designated transmission/reception system, it is judged whether the data amount in the packet is changed from a just preceding state or not and the information is transmitted to a processor part 108. At the time of no change, the number of the packets to be assigned is kept as it is. At the time of change, it is judged whether the data amount is changed into zero or not. The part 108 re-writes a table storage part 109 and permits the number of packets to be assigned to be a min. value at the time of change into zero. When the amount changed into a value except zero, the part 109 is re-written and the number is made to be the max. one.
