Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network testing device capable of shortening a startup time.SOLUTION: A network testing device 1 includes: a plurality of pieces of measurement hardware 5A attached to a slot S of a device body for measuring an object to be measured in accordance with measurement contents of the object to be measured; a plurality of measurement applications 11 for arbitrarily combining and controlling the plurality of pieces of measurement hardware 5A in accordance with setting contents; and a processing control section 7 for executing self-diagnosis when a self-diagnosis execution condition is satisfied in device startup. The self-diagnosis execution condition is any one of conditions of when a date is changed, when a work time of the device exceeds a designated time, when a work time of the measurement hardware 5A exceeds a designated time, when the measurement hardware 5A is exchanged, after the lapse of a designated time from the implementation of the last self-diagnosis, when abnormality in the measurement hardware 5A is detected or when abnormality in the self-diagnosis is detected, or the self-diagnosis execution condition is formed by selectively combining these conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
