To reduce the number of components of and the work and assembly man-hours of a neutral positioning mechanism by forming the contact surface of cam follower with a cam into a generally cylindrical shape and forming the cam follower from the same member as an operating lever.
An operating lever 10 for a movable swash plate has at one end an integral cam follower 10a. A cam 54 urged in a direction where it is pressed by the cam follower 10a is incorporated in a housing 31. The cam 54 has one end 54b turnably supported on a pivot journalled to a bearing 31b on one side of the housing 31, and the other end 54c supported on a spring 56 that urges the cam 54 toward the cam follower 10a. The contact surface of the cam follower 10a with the cam 54 is practically cylindrical, and the cam follower 10a is formed from the same member as the operating lever 10.
