PURPOSE: To decrease acidity of acidic condensate and to prevent the corrosion of a heat exchanger, by running the acidic condensate from the inside pipe part of a cylindrical basic material disposed spacially in treating tanks having a weir into the outside pipe part, and allowing the water to overflow from the weir.
CONSTITUTION: In order to provide 2 clearance between a treating tank 7 and a cylindrical basic material 8, the size of the tank 7 is made larger than the size of the material 8, and the material 8 is held afloat from the tank 7 by means of a projection 10 provided in the bottom part of the tank 7. Then, acidic condensate flows from the inside pipe part 9a of the material 8 to an outside part 8b. Further, a weir 11 is provided to the tank 7 and since the height of the weir 11 is made higher than the height in the bottom surface part of the material 8, the acidic condensate reacts by contacting with the material 8 and is thereby neutralized. The neutralized condensate flows out by overflowing from the weir 11.
