Abstract:
To provide a neutron beam detection device capable of detecting an abnormality of the neutron beam detection device with a simple constitution, and provide an abnormality detection method of the neutron beam detection device.SOLUTION: When a neutron beam detection device 100 has no abnormality, the pulse-height distribution formed on the basis of a detection signal has a waveform in which a neutron beam N gradually increases and a peak P is formed and gradually decreased. In other words, when a peak is not detected in the pulse-height distribution, it can be determined that the neutron beam detection device 100 has an abnormality. A determination unit 23 determines an abnormality when the peak P is not detected. Thus, the abnormality of the neutron beam detection device 100 can be easily detected without using a plurality of monitors.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
