Abstract:
To provide a neutron beam detector for successively acquiring transparent images excellent in visibility in real time.
The neutron beam incident on a neutron reaction layer 5 radiates gamma rays. The gamma rays are incident on an amorphous selenium layer 1 and converted into charges. The charges are stored in condensers 4c on an active matrix substrate 4 and retrieved sequentially, thereby reading charges each time even if neutron beams are incident on the neutron reaction layer 5 successively. Thus, the neutron beam detector 10 for detecting the neutron beam in real time is provided.
