Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent corrosion of sensor part by the effect of dissolved oxygen or chloride, etc., in reactor water by sealed-welding the end part of a sealed vessel constituting the sensor part and the outermost part of non- organic insulated coaxial cable.
SOLUTION: In a sealed vessel 11, a cathode 12 and an anode 13 are arranged and on the inner surface of the cathode 12, a neutron converter material 14 is spread and ionized gas 15 is filled. In the non-organic insulated coaxial cable 19, powder insulator 18 is charged. To avoid a space to be a water pool, the end part of the sealed vessel 11 and the outermost part of the non-organic insulated coaxial cable 19 are welded airtight. By this, a gap passing to the outside at the contact part of the sealed vessel 11 and the non-organic insulated coaxial cable 19 is avoided and therefore, the corrosion of metal by the effect of dissolved oxygen or chloride, etc., contained in reactor water can be surely prevented.
