Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new 1,2-dithiolene compound useful as a medicine for treating acute neurodegeneration disorders, progressive neurodegeneration disorders and cognitive disorders due to the aging of cerebrum, etc.
SOLUTION: A compound of formula I [Ra is a 1-8C alkylene; Rb is a single bond or a 1-6C alkylene; Z is a thiocarbamic acid group of formula II (the 0 atom bonds to Ra; R1 is H, a 1-6C alkyl, an aryl or the like) or a thioamide group of formula III; T is a group of formula IV (R2 and R3 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl, a cycloalkyl or the like)]. For example, 5-(1,2-dithiolan-3-yl)pentyl N-(2-morpholinyl)thiocarbamic acid hydrochloride. The compound of formula I wherein Z is a thioamide group of formula III is obtained by treating a compound of formula V with a compound of the formula: HN(R1)Rb-T and then treating the product with Lawesson regent.
