Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new compound useful in clinical chemistry, etc., which is used to make the dry analytical element for quantitatively assaying lithium in serum.
CONSTITUTION: The compound of formula I [R is n-C12H25, CH3, CH2C6H5; R1 is H, NO2, SO2CH3, SO2N(n-C6H13)2, SO2N(CH3)-n-C18H37; R2 is CH3, n-C7H15; X is CH or N], e.g. 6-[2-hydroxy-5-((p)-nitroarylazo)benzyl]-1,4,8,11- tetraoxacyclotetradecane, is obtained by allowing a compound of formula II to react with a compound of formula III.
