PURPOSE: To obtain a new 1,4-disubstd. piperidine compd. and its pharmaceutically acceptable org. or inorg. salts which are useful for the treatment of myasthenia, memory disorders and dementia such as senile dementia and Altzheimer's disease.
CONSTITUTION: This invention provides a 1,4-disubstd. piperidine compd. expressed by formula I and its pharmaceutically acceptable org. or inorg. salts. In formula I, R1 is a 5 to 7C cycloalkyl, phenyl, a 1 to 4C alkyl, a 1 to 4C alkoxy, nitro or a halogen-substd. phenyl; R2, R3 are each H, a 1 to 4C alkyl, X is S, O, CH-NO2, N-R5 (R5 is H, COOH, an alkoxy, an alkyl, etc.), for example, 1phenyl-3[2-(1benzyl4-piperidine)ethyl] thiourea. The compd. of formula I, especially a compd. with R3 being H is obtd. by the reaction of an amine expressed by formula II and an isocyanate expressed by formula III.
