Title:
NEW AMYLOID PRECURSOR PROTEIN AND ITS USE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3937459
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a new amyloid precursor protein encoding a nucleic acid containing a marker sequence and sequence not containing sequence up to β-amyloid region, capable of detecting an expression protein with a marker and suppressing β-amyloid separation related to Alzheimer's disease.
CONSTITUTION: This new amyloid precursor protein is produced by a cell transformed with a vector containing a nucleic acid molecule, etc., encoding an amyloid precursor protein mutant protein containing a nucleic acid sequence encoding a marker from 5' terminal to 3' terminal and a nucleic acid sequence encoding amino acid up to β-amyloid peptide(BAP) domain, but not containing a nucleic acid sequence encoding BAP domain. An antibody reacting with the marker is reacted with a sample containing the expressed recombinant polypeptide to form an antigen-antibody complex and presence of the complex can be detected by label, etc., of antibody.
