Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new chemical luminous reagent capable of measuring the activity of peroxidase enzyme in the presence of a hydrogen receptor such as hydrogen peroxide or the like, useful for the detection, microanalysis, etc., of various substances and to provide a method for producing the reagent.
SOLUTION: This new chemical luminous reagent contains the compound substance of an N,N'-disubstituted-9,9'-bisacridinium salt of the formula (R1 and R2 are each an alkyl, an aryl or a halogenated aryl group and may be the same or different; R3 to R6 are each hydrogen, an alkyl, an aryl, an alkoxy, an aryloxy or a halogen and may be the same or different; X is an n-valent anion and (n) is 1 or 2) and an N,N-disubstituted carboxylic acid amide compound. This method for producing the chemical luminous reagent comprises bringing the N,N'-disubstituted-9,9'-bisacridinium salt into contact with the N,N'-disubstituted carboxylic acid amide compound.
