Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a composition suitable for shafts, bearings, etc., having both highly lubricating ability and light-colored appearance by blending a cured material prepared by crosslinking and curing a specific polybutadiene with a synthetic resin or rubber. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. synthetic resin (e.g. polyethylene) is blended with 0.01-8 pts.wt., preferably 0.3-6 pts.wt. cured material prepared by crosslinking >=10mol%, preferably >=90mol% vinyl type double bond of a polybutadiene which has >=20mol%, preferably >=60mol% based on monomer unit of vinyl type double bond and 500-100,000, preferably 1,500-8,000 number-average molecular weight or 100 pts.wt. rubber (e.g. natural rubber or styrene butadiene rubber) is blended with 0.01-60mol%, preferably 1-20mol% of the cured material.
