Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an alicyclic epoxy resin having excellent properties such as heat resistance, water resistance, flexibility and a glass transition temperature as well as good blocking resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The resin useful as a coating resin or an adhesive resin is obtained by epoxidizing a vinylic resin obtained by reacting a compound containing at least one vinyl group and one epoxy group in the molecule with at least one member selected from among a polybasic acid anhydride, a polybasic acid, an acid-terminated polymer and a carboxylic polymer and at least one member selected from among compounds each containing at least one active hydrogen atom.
