PURPOSE: To provide a new compound useful for treating agents of hypertension, migraine, anxiety, depressions, obesity or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The compound of the formula I, e.g. 9,10-dihydro-N-(2'- propynyl)-6-methylergoline-8β-carboxyamide, is obtained by subjecting the compound of the formula II and N-substituted-2-propyny amine of the formula III to a condensation in the presence of a condensation agent and an organic base in an inert organic solvent to obtain the compound of the formula IV, subsequently halogenizing the obtained compound selectively at its position 2 in an inert organic solvent at room temp. to obtain the compound of the formula V, and optionally reducing the resulting compound at room temp. to 100°C (preferably at 60°C). In the formula I, R1 to R3 are each H, 1-6C alkyl; X is H, halogen; Z is carbonyl, methylene.
