Abstract:
To provide a new flavonoid compound and an antioxidant agent containing the compound.
There is provided a new compound: 7-O--L-rhamnopyranosyl-4', 5-dihydroxy-3-[O--L-acetylrhamnopyranosyl-(16)-3-O--D-glucopyranosyloxy]flavone found out by structure analysis of a compound separated from a stalk and leaf of a plant of family Actinidiaceae. The compound is a new flavonoid compound and has antioxidation power similar to rutin.
