Abstract:

To obtain the subject new polynucleotide having high identity to a polynucleotide coding for a polypeptide comprising specific amino acids and used for identifying a receptor useful for prevention, improvement, correction, etc., of insufficiency or diseases.

This isolated new polynucleotide comprises a polynucleotide having at least 91% identity to a polynucleotide coding for a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence represented by the formula, a polynucleotide by duplication property of gene code coding for the same amino acid sequence as the formula, a polynucleotide complementary to the above polynucleotide, a polynucleotide, etc., comprisgn an at least 15 continued bases and can identify a receptor useful for prevention, improvement, correction, etc., of insufficiency or diseases and different from 7-transmembrane receptor. The polynucleotide is obtained by subjecting DNA derived from human whole brain to PCR amplification with human 11cb splice variant part gene.
