To provide a technique for increasing the safety and utility of silage by separating and/or selecting a lactic acid bacterium that can suppress the aerobic deterioration of silage and utilizing the lactic acid bacterium for the preparation of silage.
This is Lactobacillus sp. TM1 strain (FERM AP-20139) that has excellent low pH resistant property and acetic acid-formability and has the antimicrobial property against the yeast that causes the aerobic deterioration of silage. Lactobacillus brevis TM2 strain (FERM AP-20140) having low pH resistance and excellent high temperature resistance and having antimicrobial property against the yeast that cause the aerobic deterioration of silage. A microbial preparation for silage formation including the lactic acid bacterium. A silage preparation method by adding the lactic acid bacterium or the microorganism preparation to the grass material.
