Title:
NEW LAMINAR OXIDE, ITS PRODUCTION AND LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3108766
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode material which has an especially excellent volume energy density and is useful for lithium batteries.
SOLUTION: This laminar oxide represented by the general formula (I): Li1.8+2xIr0.6-xFe0.6-xO3 [O≤(x)≤0.10] and the lithium battery using the laminar oxide are provided. The method for producing the laminar oxide represented by the general formula (I): Li1.8+2xIr0.6-xFe0.6-xO3 [O≤(x)≤0.10] comprises (1) a process for mixing (a) at least one lithium compound, (b) at least one iron compound, and (c) at least one indium compound, (2) a process for heating the obtained mixture at a temperature of 1,200 to 1,500 K, and (3) a process for crushing the obtained synthetic product.
