Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a new antibiotic substance SF2757 by the method of culturing actinomycetes.
CONSTITUTION: Streptomyces sp. SF2757 strain is cultured in a medium containing nutrient assimilable by ordinary microorganisms and the objective substance is separated from the obtained cultured product by solvent extraction, silica get column chromatography, etc. The new antibiotic substance SF2757 has a molecular formula of C45H75NO17 and an estimated structure shown by the formula.
