To provide a new method for industrially producing a peptide compound (I).

This method for producing the peptide compound of formula (I) [R1 is a lower alkyl; R2 is a lower alkyl; R3 is an air (lower) alkyl] or its salt comprises reacting a compound of formula (II) or its reactive derivative at the carboxyl group or its salt with a compound of formula (III) or its reactive derivative at the amino group or its salt.
