Abstract:
To provide ivabradine hydrochloride which has bradycardiac characteristics and is useful for treating cardiac failures and for treating or preventing the various clinical states of myocardial ischemia, such as angina, cardiac infarction and related heart beat troubles, and various pathological states related to heart beat troubles, especially supraventricular heart rhythm disorders.
There is provided a medicinal composition including a combination of the -crystal form of ivabradine hydrochloride represented by formula (Ia) and having specific X-ray diffraction characteristics as an active ingredient with one or more pharmacologically acceptable, inactive and harmless carriers.
