Title:
NEW MICROORGANISM, BIODEGRADATION OF ORGANIC COMPOUND AND REMEDIATION OF ENVIRONMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3323746
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly decompose an aromatic compound and a chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon without depending on derived substances and repair the environment by introducing a specific microorganism constitutionally developing oxygenase into soil, etc.
SOLUTION: The new microorganism comprises at least either one among a new microorganism JM2N strain (FERM P-15691), JM6U strain (FERM P-15692) and JM7 strain (FERM P-15718) which is a variant of the microorganism J1 strain (FERM P-5102) capable of decomposing aromatic compounds and chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon compounds without depending on induced substance and constitutionally develops oxygenase, and the microorganism decomposes aromatic compounds or chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon compounds in water or soil.
