Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject microorganism exhibiting positive T cell activation suppression by T cell proliferation assay and useful for production of a specific compound such as immunosuppressant agent prevent human host rejection of foreign organ transplant.
CONSTITUTION: This microorganism is biologically pure Streptomyces lavendulae ATCC 55209. Furthermore, a compound of the formula which is an immunosuppressant agent exhibiting positive T cell activation suppression by T cell proliferation assay and exhibiting proton nuclear magnetic spectrum of the formula is obtained by culturing the microorganism under aerobic conditions.
