Abstract:
To obtain a new fungus having decomposition performance of polycyclic aromatic compound and to provide a method for purifying an environment contaminated with a polycyclic aromatic compound.
The fungus belonging to the order Polyporales has decomposition performance polycyclic aromatic compound. Preferably the fungus belonging to the order Polyporales is specified by the accession number FERM P-19293.
