Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a new modified tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) improved in activity persistence in the living body by lowering the ability to form its complex with an inhibiting factor for a plasminogen activating factor.

CONSTITUTION: This modified substance of t-PA has at least a part wherein an amino acid, having a positive charge and present in a Kringle 2 region of a tissue plasminogen activating factor is substituted with an amino acid having no positive charge.
