Abstract:
To provide a low-loss optical waveguide and a manufacturing method therefor.
The optical waveguide is provided which is obtained by irradiating a polymer matrix of which the core has a repeating unit represented by formula (I) with light to thereby cross-link maleimide groups to one another, (in formula, one of R1, R2, R3, and R4 is the maleimide group having formula (II)).
