To provide a method for expressing minute and fine elegant patterns in a patterned woven fabric made as a jacquard-woven fabric.

This woven fabric is provided by using not a surface-drawn fabric texture but a point-drawn fabric texture, capable of freely changing the surface-exposed density per a unit length (area) in the crossings of optionally colored weft yarns with warp yarns, and enabling a further minute gradation expression associated with the shade/light and dark of the fabric pattern. Since a jacquard shedding mechanism having the same number of needles as the warp yarns is used, it is possible to weave the multiple number of different mixed woven texture systems at the same time.
