Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a novel compound useful for a heat sensitive, subliming and transcribing coloring matter, being orange, red and blue, excellent in solubility and light resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The subject compound is expressed by the formula I [W, X, Y and Z are halogen, alkyl of the formula II (A is CN, NO2, etc.; B is 1-4C alkyl, 6-10C cycloalkyl, halogen, etc.; (a) is 0-3; (d) is 0-5), etc.]. For example, 6-anilino-5,7,8-trifluoroquinizarin. Here, the compound of the formula I can be obtained, e.g. by subjecting a halogen containing quinizarin-based compound of the formula III (R0 is halogen) to react with a compound of the formula IV.
