To provide a compound useful for an electrophotographic photoreceptor and having excellent electron transport property, a positive charge type electrophotographic photoreceptor using the same for a high sensitivity copying machine and for a printer, and an electrophotographic apparatus.
A new quinone compound has a structure shown by formula (I), wherein: R1, R2, R3 and R4 are identical or different and each represents H, a 1 to 8C alkyl which may have a substituent, a 1 to 8C alkoxy which may have a substituent or aryl which may have a substituent; and R5 and R6 are identical or different and each represents aryl which may have a substituent or a heterocyclic group which may have a substituent, wherein each substituent is halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or aryl. The electrophotographic photoreceptor using the same and the electrophotographic apparatus are also provided.
