Abstract:
To provide a screening method and the like of agonist/antagonist with respect to new applications of a G-protein conjugated receptor protein (GPR43).
The method for screening a compound or its salt that changes the affinity between a receptor protein or its salt and a fatty acid or its salt uses a new G-protein conjugated receptor protein or its salt containing an amino acid sequence that is the same or substantially the same as a specific amino acid sequence and a short-chain fatty acid or its salt.
