PURPOSE: To carry out hydrocracking by with a highly activated catalyst and a long operation life by producing a mid-distillate product from heavy feedstocks provided with a specified boiling point through the use of a hydrocracking catalyst containing LZ-10 zeolite.
CONSTITUTION: The mid-distillate product is produced from the heavy feedstocks material with the boiling point being higher than 371°C through the use of the hydrocracking catalyst containing selectively extracted LZ-10 zeolite. The actuation of the catalyst is considered to be superior since a part of amorphous acid alumina and/or a silica-containing collapsed product is selectively removed from a crystallization zeolite grid and this kind of collapsed product is produced during a repeated steaming process. The collapsed product is effectively removed by processing LZ-10 zeolite by an assistant for dissolving it or executing complex-forming.
