Abstract:
To provide Ni-based ferrite which has a large initial magnetic permeability μi and a small relative temperature coefficient, which becomes negative in a temperature range of 20-120°C, and a coil component arranged by use thereof.SOLUTION: A Ni-based ferrite has an initial magnetic permeability μi of 465 or more at 20°C, of which the relative temperature coefficient is -3.0×10-6/°C to 0/°C in a temperature range of 20-85°C and -2.0×10-6/°C to 0/°C in a temperature range of 20-120°C. The Ni-based ferrite comprises: Fe2O3 of 47.0 mol% to 47.5 mol%; ZnO of 28.0 mol% to 32.0 mol%; CuO of 6.0 mol% to 9.0 mol%; MnO of 0.3 mol% to 1.2 mol% with the balance consisting of NiO, wherein the total quantity of Fe2O3 and MnO is 47.5 mol% to 48.2 mol%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
