Title:
NICKEL ALLOY POWDER FOR SINTERING ADDITIVE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62133001
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide satisfactory compressibility and sinterability to Ni alloy powder during compacting and sintering by limiting the Mo content in the Ni alloy powder and the particle size of the powder.

CONSTITUTION: The composition of alloy powder is composed of 10W50% Mo and the balance Ni with inevitable impurities and the average particle size of the powder is limited to ≤30μm. When the Ni alloy powder for sintering additive is used, uniform alloying is attained and satisfactory compressibility and sinterability are obtd. during compacting and sintering. The strength of a sintered body can be improved by the following heat treatment. The Ni alloy powder is used as an additive when iron-base sintered parts are manufactured by sintering.
