Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve workability in cold working as well as machinability by specifying lead, cerium and lanthanum contents.
CONSTITUTION: This nickel-copper alloy is formed of 0.03W3wt% lead, 18.4W57.5wt% (based on lead) rare earth elements (cerium and/or lanthanum), nickel and copper. The above alloy has superior workability particularly in cold working as well as machinability.
