Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material useful for applications of an internal electrode layer of MLCC or the like for example, having suppressed thermal shrinkage during sintering and high in sintering initiation temperature.SOLUTION: A nickel fine particle-containing composition contains A) a first nickel fine particle having average particle diameter Dby a scanning electron microscope observation in a range of 40 to 200 nm and B) a second nickel fine particle having average particle diameter Dby a scanning electron microscope observation in a range of 5 to 40 nm and 5% thermal shrinkage rate temperature lower than 5% thermal shrinkage rate temperature of the first nickel fine particle by 50°C or higher. The content of the A component to the total amount of the A component and the B component is in the range of 75 to 99 mass% and the content of the B component is in the range of 1 to 25 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
