Abstract:
To provide a method for producing nickel powder suitable for a laminated ceramic capacitor, showing excellent oxidizing behavior, reducing behavior and sintering behavior in the producing process for the laminated ceramic capacitor.
The method for producing the nickel powder is characterized in that a compound layer containing nickel and sulfur is arranged on the surface of nickel powder by treating the nickel powder with sulfur gas or sulfur compound-containing gas.
