To provide a night soil treating apparatus which improves the washing efficiency of the night soil treating apparatus and a method for washing the same.
Hydrophilic membranes are used for the solid-liquid sepn. membrane 12 and reverse osmosis membrane 16 of the night soil treating apparatus which decontaminates night soil treating water 11 with the solid-liquid sepn. membrane 12, passes the night soil treating water 11 after the decontamination trough the reverse osmosis membrane 16 and desalts the water. In the case of desalting, the night soil treating water 11 is subjected to the decontamination of suspended solids, etc., by passing the water through the solid-liquid sepn. membrane 12 and thereafter, the decontaminated night soil treating water 14 is passed through a safe filter 15 and is sent to the reverse osmosis membrane 16, by which the water is subjected to the desalting treatment. In the case of washing, the washing water 20 in the solid-liquid sepn. membrane 11 is used as it is in washing of the reverse osmosis membrane 16 as well. The efficient execution of the washing is thus made possible.
