Abstract:
To obtain a rubber composition by vulcanization by using an organic peroxide in combination with sulfur and an accelerator.
This rubber composition is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. NBR with 0.3-3 pts.wt. organic peroxide, 0.05-0.3 pt.wt. sulfur and 0.5-4.5 pts.wt. total of sulfur-based accelerators. As a result, the resistance to compression set can be improved compared to the one vulcanized only by the sulfur.
