Title:
NMR SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3532305
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make possible to remove an artifact that occurs in a restructured image by providing a noise detector that detects a short-time noise pulse and a noise filter comprising a blanking circuit that removes the noise pulse.
CONSTITUTION: NMR signals occurring in a subject are picked up by the receiving coil of an MRI system and inputted to a transceiver module through a preamplifler. The module has a built-in noise filter, which receives the NMR signals through the preamplifler to an input terminal 260. The NMR signals are divided at a contact point 261, and inputted to a noise detector 263 and a time delay circuit 265. Time-delayed NMR signals and noise display signals are applied to a blanking circuit 271. The blanking circuit is turned on by the noise display signal of a line 267 and blocks short-time noises contained in the NMR signals.
