Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noble metal ion desorbent which can be repeatedly used by preventing degradation of the noble metal ion desorbent, and to provide an efficient method of recovering novel metal using the same.SOLUTION: A noble metal ion desorbent containing a sulfur-containing alcohol derivative represented by the formula (1) and an extract containing noble metal ions or an adsorbent which adsorbs noble metal ions are contacted. (1), where Rrepresents a substituent represented by the formula (2), a hydroxyl group or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms and Rrepresents a substituent represented by the formula (2). (2), where R, Rand Rrepresent each independently a hydrogen group, a methyl group and an ethyl group and X represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
