Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a noble metal-plated personal ornament hardly causing metal allergy and to reduce the cost by thinning the noble metal plating.

CONSTITUTION: A copper-tin alloy plating 5 contg. 30-50% tin is formed as a substrate plating in ≥0.5μm thickness, and a palladium plating 3 not contg. nickel is formed as a white finish plating in 0.1-5μm thickness. A gold plating 6 not contg. nickel is formed, as required, on the palladium plating 3 in 0.1-5μm thickness.
