Abstract:
To enable processing of IKE negotiation to be continued, even if an MN moves between Links during the IKE negotiation, and to reduce any delay at the time of packet transmission caused by failure of the IKE negotiation.
In the case of a node device that has MN function, if CoA used for the IKE negotiation becomes an Off-link Address, then a new On-link Address is acquired and the IKE negotiation is started. In the case of a node device that has HA function, if CoA in use for the IKE negotiation is updated by Home Registration of the MN into another node device, then the IKE negotiation is started using a new CoA.
