Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize improvement in the magnetic efficiency, by joining a pair of half split cores made of soft magnetic powder and a specified organic binder, and causing the joined pair of cores to surround the outer peripheral portion of a cable of an electric equipment or an electronic component in tight contact to restrain electromagnetic interference.
SOLUTION: A pair of half split cores 1 and 1' are fitted on a cable, and the outer peripheral portion thereof is covered by a pair of rubber-like half split fixing cases 2 and 2'. A first engagement protrusion 3 is engaged with a second engagement protrusion 4 to fix the pair of half split cores 1 and 1' to the cable. The pair of half split cores 1 and 1' are made of at least soft magnetic powder and an organic binder, and a split cylindrical composite magnetic member is formed by joining the pair of half split cores so that it can surround the outer peripheral portion of a cable of an electric equipment or an electronic component in tight contact. The composite magnetic member is produced by mixing flat soft magnetic powder made of a Fe-Al-Si alloy and an elastomer having a hardness not more than 60. Thus, the magnetic efficiency can be improved by reducing a demagnetizing field.
