Abstract:

To enable the cancel and reduction of external noises, which reach the ears of a user while being mixed in reproduced sounds provided from a headphone, to the headphone and further, to prevent the section near the headphone from being enlarged.

This device is provided with left and right microphones 14L and 14R arranged near left and right headphones 13L and 13R for emitting reproduced sounds corresponding to an audio signal supplied from an audio signal generator 11 so as to collect external noises to the left and right headphones 13L and 13R, and left and right noise cancel parts 12L and 12R for setting the states of generating noise cancel signals, based on output signals from the left and right microphones 14L and 14R and supplying these noise cancel signals to the left and right headphones 13L and 13R together with the audio signals, and the left and right noise cancel parts 12L and 12R are arranged inside the audio signal generator 11.
