PURPOSE: To perform multichannel noise control for obtaining a sound elimination area in a three-dimensional space.
CONSTITUTION: The sound wave from a noise source is received by K microphones 1-1 to 1-k. Then K A/D converters 2-1 to 2-k convert the outputs of the microphones 1-1 to 1-k into digital signals. On the other hand, L microphones 3-1 to 3-L detect the suppression state of a noise. Then L A/D converters 4-1 to 4-L convert the outputs of the microphones 3-1 to 3-L into digital signals. Digital signals which minimize the L microphones by adaptive algorithm are outputted by M signal processing unit groups 5-1 to 5-M and then converted from analog to digital. Further, M speakers 10-1 to 10-M output sound waves for canceling the noise by sound interference.
